Lauren Glaze

Clinical MSW Student Intern

Lauren is completing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Transformation at Eastern Mennonite University. Before becoming a therapist-in-training, her path included community outreach, environmental education, and work supporting community mental health and wellness.

Across her roles, Lauren has worked to create inclusive spaces where people can feel connected, respected, and able to participate as themselves. Her experience with restorative justice and conflict transformation also informs an interest in how we navigate differences, relationships, and our connections with the people around us.

Lauren's path has also been shaped by a longstanding connection to the natural world. She has worked on a small farm, developed garden education programming for children, helped create a horticulture therapy program alongside a school counselor, and worked at the Wildlife Center of Virginia. She brings that same curiosity about people, their environments, and the many parts of their lives into her developing work as a therapist.
