Meet our team
At Divergent Path Wellness our team is guided by the values of authenticity (being vulnerable in the service of our personal values), sustainability (caring for ourselves so we can care for our clients), and honoring lived experience (committed to anti-oppression and being humble to the limits of our own experience). Get to know us.
You found your way here! That’s freaking awesome. I know there’s a lot going on and you’ve got many other demands. It’s profound that you’re here.
Whether you're in front of your computer or on your phone, you're thinking about talking to a therapist. I want to acknowledge that. It’s a big deal to care about yourself and take action toward radical self compassion. Sit with that for a second.
If you found your way to this page, chances are you've got stuff that needs unpacking.
Are you getting stuck in certain patterns? Do you often put others first and yourself last? Does asking for what you need feel overwhelming? Do you frequently find yourself asking, Why are things the way they are?
I get that. For a lot of my life, my brain was not a pleasant place to be. Like you, I’ve asked myself these questions.
If you need space where you can let your walls down, quiet the loud critical part of your brain, and explore your patterns, let's go there together. Therapy (and psych meds!) have helped me immensely.
This can especially challenging when we're struggling with ideas about how things "should be". When we work together, I want you to know you are not expected to be happy all the time or pain-free. You're a person with real struggles who deserves to be heard. Therapy is not about toxic positivity.
Professional support has helped make my mental landscape much kinder. I believe in the power of therapy: of healing in relationship. If you choose to work with me, I am glad to be in your corner.
Get started now to gain a better, deeper understanding of yourself and live authentically.
