Whether you're in front of your computer or on your phone, you're thinking about talking to a therapist. I want to acknowledge that. It’s a big deal to care about yourself and take action toward radical self compassion. Sit with that for a second.

This can especially challenging when we're struggling with ideas about how things "should be". When we work together, I want you to know you are not expected to be happy all the time or pain-free. You're a person with real struggles who deserves to be heard. Therapy is not about toxic positivity.
